ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Maphuti Mongatane is a Business Development Manager at African Farming and Landbouweekblad, with a remarkable journey that spans media, events, agriculture, and community development.

Her career began in fashion and beauty media at Media24, where she spent nearly a decade building strong operational, marketing, and client relationship skills. She later transitioned into agriculture, a move that ignited her passion for farmer development, storytelling, and transformation.Today, she is:Founder of PhutiM Agriwise , Agricultural Programme Leader working with organisations like Temo Foundation ,A key driver behind farmer workshops, conferences, and national agricultural platforms An Ambassador for Good, championing climate-smart agriculture and school gardening initiatives ,Maphuti is known for being hands-on, solution-driven, and deeply connected to farmers on the ground, a true bridge between corporates, communities, and agriculture.
